Often the most overlooked team at the club as results are not always as positive as the other two teams, but one that deserves it recognition as things have to be taken into account.

As soon as a star in the making appears they are usually snapped up by the 'bigger boys' and when someone fails to show on a Sunday morning it is normal for the 3rd XI to have their best players diverted away from their own game to help everyone else out.

Therefore despite having players who have potential to do well in their respective division they often find themselves lower down the table due to the sacrifices they make for the club.

Maybe the new Management set-up of Lee Halligan and Damian McGinty will help them in their quest as previous Gaffer 'Jimbo' has been promoted to the role of 1st XI Co-Manager.
